Job Description

The EchoPark Porter is responsible for the timely, safe and secure placement of vehicles throughout the facility.  Moving vehicles to and from the service lane, service department, reconditioning center and inventory area requires working closely with other departments’ schedules and guest demands. The Porter ensures that vehicles are precisely aligned and placed in specific locations by type, color and trim level.  Porters have an important guest-service responsibility and are frequently the last EchoPark associate to handle a vehicle prior to a guest seeing, touching and driving it.  Porters must always be safety conscious as they make many vehicle trips in an environment that encourages guests to roam freely without supervision.  Because of this, Porters will frequently interact with guests and may be the only EchoPark associate a guest speaks with during their visit.  The EchoPark shopping experience lets the guest lead the process – whether it begins with viewing inventory, having their car appraised or being reunited with their car following a service appointment, the Porter must be agile and attentive to support this guest-directed process.
